when i ripped my carpet out i saw that there was a black box under my drivers seat with a wire goin up under my dash. i cut it out not knowing what the hell it was. i followed the wire up under towards my steering wheel area but then lost it in a bunch of wires. it was a rectangular box with what looked like a ethernet slot on the side of it. lol does som1 know what this weird thing was or is it just another mystery of my car?

my guess is its either alarm or gps related.
I would see it like this. If that car is souped up and looks hella clean it would be worth to have a lojack install or whatever if u are richie.
But if its stock looking why get lojack when a 300-400 alarm is alright.

yea now that i thnk about it, it might have been a shock sensor. but then it looked too simple to be a shock sensor. imagine a laptop charger cable, it looked like the big adapters that are in the middle but a little bigger.
