I’m looking for a good universal muffler.

Here were my choices

Ok, So Here is what i want to know.

and please rate them 1-3, 3 being loudest/greatest

Sound Quality
Appearance
Loudness (compared to each other)

ie. N1 3 (loudest?)
obx b9 2 (mid loud)
Tsudo 1 (least loud)

I’m not looking for some real loud exhuast, However I just want to know how the three compare

if turbo, get the cheapest 3" that suits your fancy.if not, id say none.

apexi n1, however i have a skunk2 muffler and love it!

I have a Tsudo DTM(dual 3" outlets) on my Lude and it is LOUD. Not like “gramma just ripped one on the shitter” loud tho, more like a deep-ass rumble. I can set off car alarms at 2.5k rpms and my landlord says he can hear me pull onto our street from a 1/4 mile away when hes inside. :ohyeah:
I wonder what that thing would sound like on my Teggy when vtec kicks in?

I can pick up a brand new N/A N1 in the box for $135, I think I might get it.

I’ve only dealt with tsudo cause they sound real good, not shitty when you hit the gas. It isn’t a quiet muffler, but has a nice deep tone. I really recommend it. I stuck with what I like and have been happy since.

I have the Apexi N1. I love it! Running with 2 1/4 pipes, Obx Cat (resonator)and another Resonator near the exhuast. The sound stands out from the rest. Some kid Reved at me with his walmart exhuast so I let him listen to a sound he wish his car could make. When it comes to exhuasts you really hear what you pay for. :up:
