nasty smell from exhaust

i have a 92 GS-R with a light nasty smell coming from the exhaust. i also have 143k on it and was wondering what i could do to get rid of that smell. replace my oil filter or get some new piping?

nope, kinda smells like…gas…its not really as strong as oil.
