I have an issue with my Volk GTP’s (Specs: size 17X7, bolt pattern 4X100), on the Highway I get vibration, I took my car to an alignment place, got a an alignment front and rear, wheel’s balanced, and that didn’t fix the issue, I then took it to my mechanic he told me to get hubcentric rings, because my axles are good, tires are great. I’ve had the wheel for about almost a year, and when I first bought them I tried to use hubcentrings rings but the wheels wouldn’t fit over them the rings were too big. I’ve searched everywhere to find some hubcentric rings for Volks. For everyone here with volks, where did you guys get your hubcentric rings.
you should NEVER ride on wheels without a hubcentric ring.
lots of places online sell hubcentric rings, even places like tirerack.com…what you need to do is find out from volk (hopefully you can find a site with this info) what the hub bore of your wheel is. it has to be exact and to the millimeter. then you’ll be able to order rings by giving that data - they’ll know your hub size by your car.
if you can’t find anyone and get frustrated let me know via email and i’ll see what i can do for you.
Whatever you do, don’t do a Google search to find your solution.
Anyway, here’s the place that will make a custom set of rings for you ( ), just provide the measurements. I have a set from them for my TE37s (only came with 2, though) and they are pretty nice and decent quality. I don’t have the measurements though.
I’ve been doing it all day, I still don’t know the measurements of the Centerbore for the rims.
I’ve got all the other details:
Rim size: 17X7
bolt pattern: 4X100
Offset: +44MM
BackSpace: 28MM
Integra Hub Bore: 56.1MM
but what is the Centerbore (wheelbore) for the GTP’s. Is there some sort of formula I can use to figure it out rather then removing the rim and measure a non accurate reading.
Hey Schu the problem with the sets on ebay is when I ask the seller what I require (for the specs I’ve provided above). They can’t seem to figure out the Centerbore of the wheel. That is my issue, and this info should be available by all so called volk wheel reps.
After a much awaited answer from MackinIndustries. I finally got what seems to be a fishy answer. I’m trying to search for that part #, cannot find it anywhere on Ray’s Engineering site, I have emailed their distributors and I am waiting to hear from them. Plus no companies such as 1010Tires, Eurosport Garage, PrestigeWheel offer a 65MM outter bore. I have emailed all these companies to find out whether they can make it. I’ll keep you guys posted on what happens.

i have NO understanding as to why rays engineering/volk doesn’t put this information on the web. i’m not a volk distributor so i don’t have more product information for those wheels.
LOL. If your hubcentric rings are rattling or showing signs of wear, they are not doing their job. You could probably lathe these yourself too if you could get some of the material - I have done various plastics on a lathe before.
