need adhesive to fix CF hood

My hood flew up on me when i was driving…luckily it didnt break the carbon fiber but for some reason the plastic backing on the hood that gives it its strength came apart. I need to glue them back together. I already tried with silicone and some other shit from CT but it didnt work. Is there something that would really hold these together.

I know this is a weird question but someone must be able to help me out.

it most likely fiberglass on the under side of the CF. just buy a fiberglass repair kit. you can usealy find them at any auto parts store

the fiberglass or plastic…whatever it is underneith isnt broken it has just come apart from the carbon fiber layer and i need to reattache them…i just dont know what kind of glue to use…

Use some Black Urethane Adhesive. Its used for windshields and its really strong. I used this stuff to hold my sideskirts in place cause nothing else worked. It takes about 24Hrs to dry and where gloves cause its messy stuff

It might actually just be fiberglass resin. You can pick taht up anywhere

Where would i get this urethane adhesive?
