Hey guys,
I am thinking of redoing my stock seats and sewing red corduroy fabric to match my door panels down the centers of the seats (front and rear) do you think this would be hard to do? How should I approach this? I want to do something with my stock seats to make it stand out without spending a arm & a leg.
Anyone?
Depends how good you are at sewing. I’m sure it could be done, are you looking to reupholster the entire seat (to fix holes, wear, etc) or just add the center? If the whole thing could use replacement, unless you have a lot of time on your hands, might be worth just looking into some aftermarket skins.
cant afford aftermarket skins. I am thinking of just doing the centers.
go for it… b4 u even try i’d suggest getting an upholstery (how to) book and learning the concepts. either way to do it right, u gotta pull the skins off so u can sew in the new center.
