Hey guys and gals, need a bit of help, I can not for the life of me find a place to get high amp. alternators. The only place online that I found that may have high amp. 1990-1993 alternators, is retarded because I can’t see how much it would cost to get one from them because the site seems to be down. Every alternator I have found has been 65-70 amps, which, isn’t that less than stock? The stock ones are 80 amps, right? Anyway, I am looking for atleast, a bair minium of 120 amps because I plan to upgrade my stereo in the next few…well, months I hope. The place I found with a high output alternator had 170 amp ones, but as I said, I could not see how much they want for them. Any and all help, I am most thankful for.
Here are a few… http://www.h-o-alternators.com/ or… http://www.steveselectronics.biz/products/car-alts/ho-alts/ho-alts.html or… http://hoalternators.proboards30.com/ and… http://www.4alterstart.com/ and of coarse… http://www.ohiogen.com/

THANK YOU!!! The 135 amp. at alterstart systems will be perfect! $200.00 is a bit high for an alternator, but it will be well worth it I am sure since I will soon be needing more than 80 Amp anyway, and in theory I wont get near 135 amp anyway. The stereo I plan to install will be only about 800 watts tottal, since I am not looking to get as loud as I can, and with lights and a few other added things, 135 amps should be plenty.
It takes about 125A to make 800W RMS, [depending on type of amplifier(s) used].:sipread:
If your not planing on cranking the system all the time, then the 135A should do the job just fine.:whisper:94
