Like the title says…My driver side Lower ball joint snapped on the road and shot my wheel through the driver side fender. I’m sure this has happened to some of you guys. Well, I just need to know where I can find some Fenders. They dont have to be JDM but I really need one. Prefferably in the Central CA or Southern CA area.

BTW…I’ve searched all of the Junkyard here in Bakersfield and the only DA chassis they have is completely stripped down to the bare frame.

yup, same thing happened to me except my upper ball joint snapped. My completely original paint that was in super good condition gone…:sad:
Were there any tell tale sign of failure, did the car ““feel”” funny while driving it? or did everything just seem normal and then all of a sudden WHAM…ty
Pretty much all of a sudden wham. Although just before it happened I did notice that I was a little lower than usual. Then a few seconds later…Snap.
Now That I’ve replaced it though, its making a thumping sound. Took the wheel off and put it on jackstands and it still makes that thumping noise. Dont know what else to do either. Fucking sucks. Any suggestions?
I didn’t hear or notice any difference. It was basically old ball joints along with a lowered car. Hit a pot hole and the upper control arm slammed into the shock tower and snapped since it couldn’t go any farther. I’ll be replacing all of them soon.
