today, as i was driving in 5th gear, i was doing roughly about 65, when i decided to step on the gas pedal a little harder. just when i did that, the rpms went up a bit without the car actually changing speed and then the rpms went back down and accelerated like it normally would. any ideas? it does this in both 4th and 5th gear? any relations to clutch or something like that?

USE APPROPRIATE SUBJECTS
