Ok im confused and mad at the same time.
OK OK i took the internals which consist of the sensor’s, ignitor,bearing everything. Out of the 1991 dohc 16v NEW §§§§§ since the new §§§§§ didnt fit on my car. Yet the NEW ROTOR AND CAP THAT FIT MY OLD §§§§§ MATCHES UP AND FITS ON THE NEW §§§§§ I BOUGHT. My car is a 1990 ls pr obd 0 but my motor is a 1992 gsr b17a1 obd 1 i believe. i kept the car obd o. vtec obd 0 ecu amd jdm sir §§§§§ 1989-1991. Now
i got the sensors and that swapped in my OLD §§§§§ JDM B16 SHELL. I started car up and it ran mint. Now it is takin 3 cranks before car starts, as well im throwin code 4 and code 8 which is top dead center position sensor, and crankshaft sensor. Im mad and confused i just put brand new §§§§§ on.
Now i put the 1991 dohc civic internals inside the old shell i have. DID THE MECHANIC NOT GAP IT PROPERLY, IS THE SENSORS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY OR DEFECT. Or the sensors from my new dohc civic §§§§§ i put in are not interchangable and wont work? I need to get a answer from someone who knows wat they are talkin about im confused. Reason i didnt get a brand new b16 §§§§§ is i cudnt find 1, as well half them are 17 yrs old and are probably on there way out. I thought i cud just swap over all the internals and i wud be ok. I mean the rotor and cap i got fit my old §§§§§ shell perfect so i matched that with the §§§§§ and the §§§§§ that matched was the dohc 1991 civic. Yet it didnt fit on my motor so i swapped the parts out of it. please help me out,.
