Need help installing hatch visor

Just picked up a oem hatch visor all mounting gear and instructions are somewhat hard to figure out. Anyways I cant figure how to put it on. I cant figure out how to put on the upper brackets on the hatch. Anybody have any advice?

Also where can I buy double side sticky tape because the one on the brackets is pretty much worn out?

Mark the holes from the visor on the hatch. Then tilt the bracket towards the roof and then pull it onto the rear hatch. Make sure to get some good double sided tape. You can get it at a paint store. Also make sure to clean the window with rubbing alcohol before you put it on.

did you ever stall it? if so any pictures? thinking about getting one.

where did you get the oem window visor from? thanks

hey tegra have you installed yours? i got one also and need help

…you slide the back it on over that hatch and use the Double sided tape also. All there is to it.

Heat up the tape with a hair dyer until the plastic ( on the tape the part you peel off ) rises alittle . Its a truck i learned a while ago . If you do that it will hold onto anything .

^ i’ll try the heat trick… i’ve always had a problem with my double sided tape lifting after a few months.

yeah we used it for insatalling side skirts , and various stuff for cars. it works really well.

is this really an OEM option from the dealer?..
post pics please…

I would like to know where the OP was able to acquire a OEM hatch visor for our cars.
Nice find.
