ok i just recently recieved a ported and slightly polished intake manifold…today i’m doing the swap and i remove all the hoses, the fuel line, and fuel injectors, and all the bolts are out i’m pretty sure…their are two bolts that are on the bottom back side of the mani that i think bolt onto the chasy(don’t know how to spell). They are the bolts that come up from the bottom…their are two of them…i have gottn’ one of them off and other one won’t won’t come off. i’ve tried i’ve had my friend try…me and my friend have tried together…it won’t budge and the ratchet keeps slipping off and i’m afriad of strippin it…anybody know a good way to get this bolt off???any help much appreciated…also a bunch of crap keeps leeking its a brown looking liquid not sure what it is…and its not fuel any body know what that is? please help…thanx,

dude, go to auto zone and pick up some stuff called PB Blaster. it has helped me to get every tough bolt off of my car, so far. and if the wratchet is slipping…are you using the right size scoket?

are you talking about the 2 lower right (passenger side) bolts? ya those are a bitch. the left one you just need to get your hand in there and you can get to it. i forget if you need to use a 3" socket or not. the next one i believe i got from the top of the engine, using 2 or 3 long socket extensions. careful when you loosen it tho, you dont want it to fall down into the abyss
