fronts are 23mm
the reason why they have two different size for the rear is because the automatics had larger rear sway bars and aftermarket ST rear sway is 19mm in diameter… energy has the universal in this size

So the suspension techniques is 19mm and the es bushings on summit racing only carry 15-16mm. Would one of these still work or should I check with energy suspension…imma check out energy suspensions website and see what they have…

integra specific of course they’ll only have the 15 or 16mm because those are the only two sizes that our stock sway bars came in.

this would be the universal part i meant:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ENS-9-5156R/

a bushing that is too small for the swaybar then its definitely not going to fit

also another thing to mention is that the ST sway bar uses the stock mounting configuration so if you wanted to use ES bushings you would probably have to modify it some way… otherwise i would just see if you could get the bushing from ST

Aite kool…I didn’t see that 19mm es bushing in summit before…mayb not listed for integra but I think I’m gonna have to check it out…the suspension techniques rear sway bar did actually come with the red stock bushing but it’s used…I’m trying to replace all with new bushings/boots etc…but than again I might just stick wit it…

Is there a noticable difference by switching to ES bushings over oem?

I will figure this out once I do the es swap. They are all almost here. I’m just waiting on the other half from the mail than I will get these installed by the end of the month and let y’all know. I’m sure lots of other DA members has gotten em done…

Let me know what you find out. Im currently looking at upgrading my front sway bar end-links to ES or Prothane, along with the bar bushings. Im trying to do all the little things i can to help decrease understeer for Autox this year, and i was wondering if this little mod would be worth it. Let me know how you like them!

Ok. I got all the es parts…but thing is I’m looking for a garage so I can do a complete tear down on suspension and engine bay…I’m thinking about powder coating some parts so it might take longer…

So the front stock bar is 23mm? Energy suspension also lists a 22mm…

and the stock rear size non automatic is? 15mm?

automatic size? 16mm?

Is it worth swapping them out if the auto one is bigger?

automatic is 15.9mm to be exact
and manual is 14.7mm

(15.9/14.7)^4= 1.36

so the larger diameter bar with all else being equal is 1.36 times stiffer

That’s good info, what’s the purpose of the auto one having a larger diameter?

good thanks with the help i was wondering about this also on the bushing

So no one know the true size of the front bar? You would think the 1mm difference would not matter…but i do not want to find out…

22mm or 23 mm???

I replaced my fronts last week, used 23mm…

That’s good…I bought 23 too…Little relief…thanks for the pic…havnt installed it yet…

Awesome! Did the 23 fit pretty snug? I ordered 22 thinking 1mm cant make that much a difference. Might have to use some electrical tape around the bar.

is that a stock sway bar with aftermarket bushing? does, bushinh really help that much??

It is a stock bar, and people say that they can tell a difference, not to mention they are cheap to replace (like $30 for the bushings and end links shipped)…mine are shot and broken anyways. I will also be replacing the end links, wheel bearings, camber kit, all ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, axles, and adding a nuespeed strut bar at the same time to get the max benefit out of everything.

If you gonna do it…do it right.
