Hello G2IC,
So i was driving my car down the freeway when out of the blue my car started to sputter and misfire. Sometimes it would die out for 5 seconds then fire back up. When it was doing this the CEL battery and other lights would flicker almost in sync with the sputtering. The car would die and I would pull it over, turn it off, then back on and it would start again. It did this a few times before having to crank it for a while for it to start. Finally the car totally gave out and it wouldn’t even crank. Then the car wouldn’t crank, but the dash lights were on. Then the dash lights died out, then the radio. I thought I may be the batter, but the lights turn on and off and the door and light chime worked fine. Finally the door chime and light chime stopped too. My window wont roll up either (electric). SO i started checking fuses and noticed my clock doesnt work either. Checked the fuses for the battery ignition ect they are all good. Checked the main fuses under the hood and those are fine too. So i started to think it was my fuse box since the clock, windows, and ignition are all on the top portion of the fuse box and do not work. Quickly ruled that out by turning on the fog light switch. Fog lights work and power locks work. also electric seat belts retract but wont come back to the occupied position. So i then thought it is probably an ignition switch, so I bought a brand new OEM switch from honda and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
