Need help with 91 integra b16

Some problems with my DA…it has a b16 swap obd0. Well my problem is that when I am
Cruising on the freeway it feels like it jerks between 3k and 3500k rpms if I give it gas it will go away. If I let it go w/o going wide open throttle it will continue to jerk for a while and all of a sudden it will be fine, and after it will come back again. Note this only happens when I drive long distances around the city it will not do it, I’ve changed complete distributor , map sensor , and spark plugs. Anyone help me out??

I’ve searched and everyone just seems “might” be ur distributor , map sensor . Those parts were replaced with new ones and problems still there. At this time this is getting a bit irritating . Just wanna get the motor running good.

Could be a number of things, if you replaced the distributor, map sensor, and plugs it could be the wires themselves. Also if this is “only” happening after it’s been running for a while it could be the o2 sensor or the intake temp sensor going out.

What size exhaust and what gear are you in when this happens? Trust me that does actually play a part, i had a similar issue with my old DC2 and it ended up being a faulty reading from the o2 sensor because there wasn’t enough back pressure on the exhaust for the sensor to get a proper reading. I was using a prototype RS-R GT2.
