the first pic is the b18c and i dont know where this coolant hose goes to or if i have to plug it. the second pic is the b18a. the question for this, is the green plug the one that gets extended to the brown plug (b18c) in pic 3? and the 2 single plug on top, pic 2, i dont know what this is or where it goes. its not on the b18c pic 4. thanks in advance for any help.

whatever dude, if you cant help, stay off my thread!!! :stfu: seriuosly im pretty sure bout the hose now and the green and brown plug but wtf is the top 2 plugs on the b18a. still stumped on that one.

looks like were doin this on our own and i was bumping it back to the top everytime. don’t hate cause i was tryin to give your thread some publicity.

whoa whoa easy there bud. like you said we r on our own. i guess we can figure it out. soon as im done we r hittin the track!!! cool??? but somebodys got to know what thats is???

The two pin plug with the glue looking crap is the one that gets extended to the thermostat housing. Then pull the large hex plug out of the B18C and replace it using the two pin green sensor from your B18A. That is if you’re still using OBD-0. If you’re converting to OBD-1, no need. Disregard the second step. E-mail me if you have any questions. Always happy to help.

thanks g2guru. i am goin obd1 so can i cut and splice the green plug on the haness side so i can just plug it in. cuz the ones i have to extend is two single wire plugs.

If you haven’t cut anything yet, the easiest way to splice those two wires in is to remove some of the tape at the joint up by the thermostat housing on the harness. Cut the two “slip” connectors off of the connectors that went to the “glue” looking plug. Now where you removed the tape you should see a bunch of wires. Gently pull on the same colored wires at that junction and see if the cut ones move. If they do, continue to pull them out through that junction. Retape and splice in your two pin green connector. Then you won’t have to have wires “outside” your harness. E-mail me if you need any help. Best of luck.
