I had to extract broken mounting bolt from the powersteering pump. I had it off the car. I put it back in the car and I am having problem getting the power steering to work in a steady flow. It tends to work a minute and stop working. It smooth one minute and tight another. Am I supposed to bleed the system and if so how?
turn the wheel from lock to lock until the foam in the p.s. res. is gone. it takes some time. make sure you have plenty of fluid.
I think I was trying that. While it will work for a short period of time, it will stop working again. Is there a for sure way to bleed it?

just keep trying to bleed it because if that doesnt work, your pump is bad…
