The electrical system in my teg is a little weird… the switched power lead for the head unit seems to be totally dead, I’m not sure why. Where is another switched (on with the ignition in run/acessory, off with off) power source that i can use for the h/u? I don’t think this lead draws much power since its a small wire… the power wire for my h/u is right off the battery, this wire just tells the h/u to turn on & off with the car…
Also, I’m installing 2 neon tubes under my dash (yes, I know they’re ricey or whatever… and I don’t care, so don’t bother pointing that out 
)… I’m going to hard-wire them & put an on/off switch somewhere… again, where is a good switched power source for these? I don’t think they draw that much power either as their wires are very thin too… I suppose I can always use relays or whatever but I’m trying to keep this as simple as possible. If there is a spare place in the fuse box that would be perfect… anyone know?
TIA for any help… I’m off to study my helms manual, I’m bad at reading diagrams but maybe that will have some useful info…
