So first picture is when I got my car, fresh paint and body work.

So I’m just trying to figure out what to do… Normally I know somebody, but in this case I do not know anyone that does body work or paint, so I replaced hood pass fender and bumper support… And now I am just trying to figure out what to do, I haven’t gone into any paint shops because of my hours of work and when you call no matter how you ask they won’t give a price before they see the car… Does anyone here just have a rough estimate of what it would be to have the hood fender and bumper sprayed? Or I even thought about rusting the hood… Ya it’s a euro thing but I like it, and just have the fender and bumper sprayed… It makes me sad to drive my car now haha.
Ideas? I’ve seen wraps but the ones on person I’ve come across are hideous… To say the least. Anyone in western Washington that paints? I’m located in Bellingham .
You’re looking at $600, plus or minus, for a reputable place to spray a fender bumper and hood.
For that price you should be getting a full sand and buff so the panels look brand new.
Pay less, and typically you’re going to get low quality materials (transparent paints and clearcoat with poor UV resistance) in addition to a shitty finish. It should not look like an orange peel… it should look like a mirror.

wow that hurts to hear, being the fact the whole car was dissasembled sprayed jams etc, looked like factory paint and paint job… and it was done for 1000$…
It was side work, and they guy is in Afghanistan now…
Like I was saying I usual know SOMEBODY through somebody somehow… But for some reason I can’t find anyone to do side work painting… Cause no body paints… I just can’t pay full price I feel like that’s so expensive… I started working on cars when I was a kid because I couldn’t stand the thought of paying someone money for something I could do myself… I feel like I could paint to, but I live in an apartment
