Okay so my wheel package is 205/50/16 and I need a new suspension. I recently purchased F&Ftype1 full coilovers. Those did not fit with my wheel package (in the rear). And being that I had 4 new tires at the time, I did not want to sell/trade my wheels. I need help figuring out what would fit well with that size. I’m not looking to drop the car, just to keep the wheels from rubbing the fenders. Any help is appreciated!
Your shocks/springs are not locating members of the suspension, thus the suspension will not affect the tires hitting the fenders. You need to raise the right height, give the suspension more negative camber, run wheel spacers, or use a correct offset wheel.
Sounds to me your problem is having the wrong wheel offset, not a tire or suspension problem. What offset are the wheels? Any pics you can provide?
Ding ding ding!

Well currently my rear shocks are blown. Reason why I bought f&f. Even with the much smaller tires I had before, they sag and bounce like crazy. With my current setup (blown OEM), my fenders are literally riding on the top outer edges of the tires. What I’m looking for is a good shock/spring combo or coilover set to keep my ride height up above the tires, without going to complete stock height, and without spending $1,000+ doing so.
And the offset is +40
Width of the rims combined with the offset will determine fender clearance.
Koni/gc. Sub 1000$ and amazing. You get height and dampning adjustments.

I would jump on this set up if I were you.
How on earth are you getting contact between your fender and tire with a +40 205/50/16 combo? Pics?
The coilovers are not the problem. If they are bouncing like crazy it sounds like you adjusted the spring preload to lower the car. I ran Type 1s on my GSR with your same setup and never had issues. Provide pics of the contact you are referring to. The Type 1s are suitable for your wants.
