Anyone know where I can locate a harness bar for our gen integras? All the vendors I’ve found only sell them for third gen tegs. Will the third gen harness bars work with my 92? If not can someone please point me towards someone who does sell the correct bar?
I’m using this for two five point harnesses with race seats so that I can tech for pdx. Time trials I will need a roll bar so it won’t be an issue then, but the car isn’t ready for that just yet I’ve also been autox’ing the car for some time now and hope someone here can help a fellow autox’er out.
The forum said stock interior, but I think this might still be the best place for this.
There isn’t one that fits the US Integras. Have you done a search? There was a thread years back about a harness bar that someone had in their Canadian DA. The issue here is that US DA’s do not have the necessary mounting points on the B-pillars for a harness bar.
or you could convert to CDM seatbelts and have one made… or you could get an autopower cage and have a middle bar welded in or even just a floor bar and mount that way… or lastly just have a custom cage built… there are options.
He doesn’t have to convert to CDM belts. He could just drill a hole in the pillar cover and weld a nut into the pillar itself, he wouldn’t need all the other parts.
Autopower roll bars have a harness bar option, so as long as you get the right one it’d be 100% bolt in.
Do not use a floor bar to mount harnesses. This is not a safe option as it creates the incorrect angle for the shoulder harnesses.

Yeah I’m bad I didn’t search the forums
I was afraid that the b pillars didn’t have the correct mounting points (I’m getting a plug fabricated from a local sheet metal shop for the sun roof atm and looked for the mounting points for the harness bar and didn’t see them). I figured I’d ask just to be sure.
Yeah, I don’t want to mount to the floor. That angle would make the track techs pitch a fit.
I already went through that episode with my LeMon’s car I don’t want to have to do it again. (Had to weld in a new bar for the harness AT the track before the race!)
An Autopower roll bar is definitely in the cards for the future when I start doing time trials and after I finish my k swap, but for now I just wanted to have the proper angle for the harness so I could be safe while I pdx’d and racked up enough seat time to get my license to TT.
As it is right now I’ll probably just end up making one myself locally once my seats get in the car and I can measure it up.
Hey man u still tryin to find a harness bar for ur da? I looked for one forever and then ended up buying a NRG harness bar for a DC integra. What I did was flip it and mount to the c-pillar mounting spots and then mount the other 2 bars to the bottom down near where the front of the back seat was. Never had any issue with the techa when I go drag racing and everyone round here likes the idea lol. Ill try and put up some pics for u tomorrow.
Judging by the position of the down tube I don’t think the rear seatbacks would be able to be upright. Regardless, it’s not safe for anyone to ride back there anyway.
