Does anyone on this board have any experience with the Neuspeed Custom Fit Logo Mats here: Neusped Mats ??
They look nice in the picture but I’m not sure about how it matches the charcoal dark grey interior carpet and most of all how they fit.
If anyone has these or has had them I’d really like to share your experiences.
at $143, i’d just order OEM mats. thats crazy, just for a name. i bet its the same quality as the $10 matts at wal-mart with the tweety bird, or taz on it.lol
new oem mats no longer exist. They are completely out of stock and are no longer being produced. The last couple sets were in Kentucky or Arkansas or somewhere like that and have since been sold.
Too bad those mats say Neuspeed, otherwise they’d be neat. It’d be nice if they could print “INTEGRA” on them instead, or even just leave 'em blank.
Of course I would order OEM mats if I could paymepunk. Thats simply not possible. The OEM embroidered floor mats is probably one of the hardest G2 item to find.
I would shell out that much money for these if I knew they fit well and had a nice shade of dark grey. I don’t want those universal mats unless they fit perfectly.
I ordered some black mats from California Car Cover Company and they are awesome quality. I have ordered stuff from them in the past and will never buy from anyone else. They only problem is that Honda won’t give them permission to embroider any of their logos on anything. So they wouldn’t embroider Integra in the mats. But the guy said that I should be able to have a small embroider shop do it. Since they would be less worried about law suits. Being a small shop, no one would find out.
I don’t have pics yet. I will try to get some tomorrow. The fit perfectly. Putting it on top of the stock mat, there is 1-2 parts where it is cut differently, but it is just slightly, and they still fit perfectly. They are really nice and plush, has a rubber backing, and a screw in tab that locks the mat in place. Only problem is they won’t embroider integra on them. But I am going to have a shop around here do that, like how the jdm mats has theirs embroidered.
On a scale of 1-10, I would give them a 9. If they would have embroidered them it would be a 10.
sorry, i didnt know they were no longer able to be gotten. Well I would think that you could take a pic of an OEM one to an uhpolstery shop and they would be able to replicate it for $143. Also, for a not so exellent but cost effective alternative, take some tan or black walmart matss that fit well to the embroidery kiask in the mall and also take a pic. I am sure they would be able to reproduce it for a reasonable amount. I got Some University of Texas emblems stiched onto my $10 polo shirts instead of paying $25 for the real ones. Copyright enfingement doesnt seem to bother the little stores.lol
I forgot. Gonna go home real quick and grab them. I’ll take some pics here and post them on imagestation if I know how (never have before). Otherwise I cam email you the pics. I should be back and done with the pics in about 30 min.
Hope this works. I took pics of the stock Mats and the Cal Car Cover Mats side by side, and on top of each other to show the difference. I would say they actually fit better that the stock mats do. They are both about the same thickness.
Wow, those mats look pretty good. How does the locking mechanism work on it to lock it in place? It looks like I see two snaps/buttons but there are no buttons on the G2’s floor. Also, are those snaps/buttons only on one end of each mat? That seems like it would tend to wrinkle and bunch up to that end…maybe not.
The locking tabs are seperate. You can put them in or not. They screw into the carpet. It tells you how to do it. You put them in the mat then set the mat in place, and then use a phillips screw driver and screw them into place.
The mat does not bunch up. It is too thick to do that. The backing is also rubber so it would grab the carpet and keep it in place.
I think they were $120 or so for front and rear.
They are awesome quality. I am just waiting to order the black carpet kit to swap out the whole blue interior to black all at once.
Cool, thanks. What do the snaps screw into? Isn’t it metal under the carpet? I am worried if I ever take them out they might leave a visible hole.
That is my last concern, which will best match the Charcoal (Dark Gray) OEM interior with some sun fade? You would think smoke, but those smoke photos kinda seem blu-ish. The gray is probably too gray. And as seen in you pictures the black is a lot different shade than the OEM mat.
Thanks for all the quick and informative responses.
I had to touch up the pics a bit. I had to change the brightness and contrast to make them easier to see with the mat on top of each other.
The snap thing are plastic, there is the round screw part that goes into the carpet, then a round flat surface, then the top snap post that has a cut in it for the phillips. It only screws into the carpet like 1/4-3/8". And porbably won’t leave a hole there cause your not really taking any carpet out. Just kinda moving it to the side when the piece gets screwed in. And also you don’t have to use it. But I do like how they keep the mat from moving.
Call them up and have them send you a catalog. You will get better idea of what they look like.
