alright… i’m thinking of getting some springs for christmas and its between the neuspeed race springs and eibach sportline… with these springs would i have to get aftermarket shocks or would my stock shocks be ok? also i’d like to see some cars lowered 2"… how does the ride quality compare… how does the performance compare, etc… any help would be great… thanks
I have my Neuspeed Race on, and the shop who did the install apparently told me that the stock shox should last for about 9 months, and guess what?! THEY ARE RIGHT.
My rear is starting to go, and I can feel my front getting tired too. But that is due to a lot of speedbumps manuver in my university so the damn patrols can catch up to the students:P
Here are the pictures, I have 16s on and it leaves about 2 firger gap (205/45/16) HTH:
thanks… for now i’m on stock gsr rims but when i get some new ones they’ll probably be 17’s… anyway… thanks for the help… oh, another thing… where did you get them? how much did you pay for the set?
hey man, 205/45 x 16 makes your tires bigger… i.e. your speedometer will be reading 100 km while you are actually about 105Km. Your engine power band is divided over a larger range and your car is therefore slower in acceleration but better in top speed!
Anyhow, don’t mean it to sound so bad, it is very minor. However, I like the lip on your bumper, what is this? Isn’t this a 92~93 bumper? The color is great!
neuspeeds are stiffer than eibach sportlines. i believe slightly lower too. your stocks will definitely die eventually. its not absolutely necessary to get shocks with these, but most likely you’ll want to after a while, at least in the front. in contrast, cut springs or cheesy coilovers with blown stocks will make you fear for your life.

Hehehe… I know that long time ago already, that’s why I didn’t end up with the 17s. I want the best compromise between look and practicality, so I ended up with these rims, plus I got them second handed which I think they match wiht my car nicely.
And for the lips, that’s from the 90-91 Acura Factory kit
Hey Startroops, nice job on your ride… I’m guessin’ sfu student right??? lol… fun drive up there though huh?!?
Hey what shop you deal with???
