I am actually the second owner of this car. First owner had it since September of '91. He has been getting this car serviced at a mechanic who is actually a friend of a family. One day he brought it to them and had them do a routine check-up but after they were done he comes back and says that he went and bought another car and asked them to sell it for him, and that is how I was able to buy it. It’s crazy though because this shop where the mechanic I know works at has all the records for this car, from them swapping the engine to another B18 that has about 120k miles now to them changing the headlight bulbs for the guy. Plans for it? Most definitely see an Auto-Manual swap down the road, yes it is an auto but I just couldn’t pass up getting it just because I knew everything about the car. But most probably, I’m going to start with the suspension first because the body does have about 250+k miles and I want to take care of that first. Aside from that, I don’t know yet but I will pretty soon. Oh and did I mention that I only got her for $1500

for a lot of g2’s, i’d say auto-manual swap isn’t worth the time. but for this, seeing as how you have all service records, picked it up for relatively cheap and it seems to be in really nice shape, i’d probably have made the same choice as well.
plus that color is one of my absolute favorites in the g2 rainbow.

Small updates:
I’ve been kinda short on cash recently (broke college student :down:) but that doesn’t stop me from working on my car haha.
08/16/2010: Did my rear wiper delete and restored my front wipers to black
08/22/2010: Removed my front seats and vacuumed and cleaned under it. Also cleaned my interior thoroughly
08/29/2010: Installed my Shark II Antenna. This was really annoying because I didn’t think it would take me that long just to remove the panel that covered the antenna motor. I thought it was just a few screws and pull the panel. It took me a while to realize that I had to remove the panel that covers that covers the lights and the trunk latch. Still got it though :whew:
