New DA owner

Nice pick up man! That VC is gorgeous. Just picked up a white 90 DA myself.

Just picked this up tonight from the guy I got my VC from. B18 intake manifold(supposedly Skunk2 replica?) that is painted to match the VC.

Those are purty, I would try to clean up that mating surface though.

Got some amber corners installed the other day, just have to get the connectors and bulbs for them now.

Will be picking the car up this afternoon with a new clutch thanks to a friend that pushed some projects back and got my car in the shop last night. Found out when he took the clutch out one of the plates on the pressure plate was cracked. Also, I love my employee discount at work, got a Centric clutch that has a $300+ list price for $111 after taxes.

This.

Looks good man! Clutch problems are terrible. It’s good that you were able to get it in and out quickly.

You planning to attend IR:208 this year?

Yeah, I’m hoping to make it to IR208 this year, was there last year with my old Civic, had a blast.

Went to a meet for the 1 year anniversary of a local Honda forum a friend created. Got a pic of my car with about half of all the cars that showed up.

Nice!

Typically a group of roughly 10 or so cars make it up that way for IR208. I’ve been kicking around the idea of going.

You should, its a great show, a lot of nice cars. You talking about utahhondas.net? They had some sick cars at the show last year. My car may still be boring in August, but worst case scenario I can just clean the car up and take it like it is, though I hope to have suspension and wheels/tires by then.

Yeah, I’m a vendor on UtahHondas… Everyone that went up there had a blast, and most seem to be planning to attend again.

I just dislike that long of a drive… haven’t driven the DA more than 50 miles in one sitting for quite a while lol. But then, I spent a lot of time up that way a few years back…

Meh, decisions decisions.

Gotta love decisions lol.
Picked up the Hytech replica header today:

car is looking good, are you planning on going as low as the da you pictured? IMO your car would look nice just tucking in front, and a bit above tucking in the rear.

I’m planning to get it just low enough to tuck tire. Any lower and i woudnt be able to drive lol. Stupid Idaho roads, not very nice to slammed cars.

oh i know the feeling, Wisconsin roads are terrible

Picked up a 93 Legend sedan lip from a friend for $5, bottoms scratched good, but hey, its $5. From eyeballing it, the lip should fit my bumper with barely if any modification. Hoping to get it on within the next few weeks weather permitting.

IdahoHonda what kind of rims are those? Do you know the off set? I’m starting to look for some rims, but here is the thing. I don’t want to slam my car because the headers sit low. I’m not sure what coil overs to go with either. I’m actually waiting till Feb. to get some coil overs. Any ways those wheels are sick though. What’s the website for those wheels? Also what kind and off set? Thanks
once the rings are replaced in the engine, i changed my mind on wheels, gonna go the XXR route with these, XXR 531 15x8 or 16x8 +20
if u mean these wheels just read above the pic…

yeah sorry… Do you know what size they are on the car? Are they the 15 or 16? I am thinking about the same wheels but I don’t want to slam the car. What do you think?

they def are nice wheels, that car is a member on here i beleive, but i wouldnt know how to find him
