New distributor, new problems & ECU question

I replaced the distributor (nothing else, should I’ve got new plug wires?) because of a CODE 9. Now the car doesn’t want to start but it will if I give it gas (not shitting you!) and hold it for awhile. While warming up the idle goes up and down to an extreme degree but the second it’s warmed up it runs great (idle is a bit higher), but now it throws a CODE 6. I jumped the ECU, learned how to set the timing and lined the pointer up to the middle red mark.

I thought I needed to reset the ECU so I pulled all my 10amp fuses from the engine fuse box and disconnected the battery completely(+ & -) for 3 hours and the ECU still wasn’t reset, I’ve looked at everything online (BACKUP fuse, 7.5 fuse,HAZARD fuse) and it doesn’t apply to my 90. This is my first time I’ve tried timing so it’s possible I screwed something up.
Please tell me what I did wrong so I can spend this weekend fixing it.

Can you please tell me what have you done to your §§§§§? Cause I also have a code 9. Did you put on a new §§§§§ and it still cause the same problem?

I replaced the distributor and it doesn’t back/misfire anymore, but it also doesn’t start haha!

My only help besides you all here!

UPDATE: I’m a moron that figured out how to reset the ECU and we’re all happy now. Till next time…
