New here, and i need LOTS of help!!

sup guys,… i’m new here, and i need help in turning on my 92 Integra RS…that’s right, the car turned off by it self one day and now doesn’t want to turn on,…this is what I know.

Ok, the fuel pump is working when you put it directly to the battery, it throws lots of fuel with pressure, but it won’t work when you turn the key. The engine turns but it won’t start, also, the is NO spark, my brother puted in a new coil and still nothing.

The car used to be my brothers’, but now that is messed up, my brother bought another car an gave me his Acura.
My brother told me that before the car died that he was feeling some pulling (felt like fuel cut) when you accelerated.

My brother also went throu a flooded street and the carpet inside the car got wet, the ECU is high so it couldn’t get wet, right? hmmmm. Could the water gotten into the engine?? Why would there be no spark and no running fuel???

If you think you can help me and/or you need more info, let me know. Please, I need a car to ride ride ride, I need an Acura to get a wife.

Thanks for reading.

check the main fuel relay and ur fuses

If the fuel pump isn’t working when you turn the key, it’s likely the Main Fuel Relay. Very easy to replace and not very expensive (about $40 US i think).

As for the spark, have you tested the igniter?

I think the Main Fuel Relay is also controlling the ECU, hence the spark, not 100% sure though.

Check your check engine light when you put the key to the ON position, she is supposed to go ON for a couple seconds and go OFF after, if she’s staying ON, the problem is the Main Fuel Relay.

Also check fuse #24 before everything else, she’s controlling the MFR and the ECU. This would cure everything.
