new here from the uk

Hi, i found your site after searching and seems to be the only site dedicated to our old integras.

there are some nice motors on here, i thought i would share mine and say hi.

its in standard trim inside and out apart from a front lip (which i dont know what kind.) and mint set of sprint hart cp-f’s and a toyo proxies.

when i got the car it need little jobs doing here and there. all the brakes have been redone and are perfect now, i have genreally gone round the car tightening it up as bumpers were sagging and cleaned to hell out of it. i have a set of ground control top mounts on the way and looking for a set of shocks to suit, im also awaiting my bee r rev controller just because there cool. im going to sort the exhaust as soon as possible though as previouse owner decided to cut the rear bumper and put a sutipid back box on there, and as you can see fromt the pictures one of the front headlamps got smashed so i got a replacement pair from malasia( cost a fortune) but well worth it, didnt realise how cloudy the old units had gotten.

hoping to respray the shell and powdercoat the suspention and subframe this year unless i get fed up and give into buying a cbr rr 600 this summer. are there many other members from the uk on here??

Hello, i’m from the uk to. Not many old da’s in the uk!

Mine’s about to be for sale.

ive heard there is less than 10. thought they would be on here, it would be interesting to know how many are there are and in what condition. i know of one that sold for approx £4000 it was completely stock and had super low milage… it looked brand new. i was in touch with the guy selling it, he was going to put me in touch with a guy who could get hold of parts easily in the uk, as as most uk owners know you have to a little addicted to the car to keep it as replacing parts is a real pain in the arse. nothing over here is avialable and when someone decides to break one all parts end up going pretty quick.

A lot of the parts are interchangeable though!

Although i couldn’t find an alternator anywhere and just forked out £150 to have it rebuilt haha.

yeah i found that alot of bits are swappable, itr roll bars, brakes, struts and stuff.

but if your on the hunt for wind deflectors, headlamps and that little bit of plastic that fits around the inside door handle your stuffed haha.

send me an email with the parts you need greazemunkey73@yahoo.com an I can tell you who you might be able to call

clean da!! welcome love the black on white wheel combos…whats the specs on those wheels

15" x 6.5 i think maybe 7… also i think offset 45 if that makes sence, also i have seen other wheels on DA’s and and they seem to sit right under arches which is not to my liking, im glad when i got these fitted they are spaced further out of the arch, i hope the 45 ofset makes sence in saying this. sure someone will put me straight.

and jphnny … its a real twat, when you need those little bits of trim i was telling the mrs earlier that i wish i could come down and buy it off you for all the tiny parts i want to get a hold of, such as rear boot plastics ect.

Nice clean DA. Welcome

nice da but y the exhaust on the pass side

exhaust and bumper was butchered by previouse owner… shame.

Nice Da my man!!! Welcome to the party!!!

Such a beautiful car:up: I thought finding parts was a bitch!! I couldn’t imagine having 1 of only about 10 and no dealer or aftermarket parts available. if I can be of any asistance in sourcing parts, feel free to hit me up. im willing to ship if your willing to pay for it

now lets get some more pics…

great to see sexy DA’s from across the pond… and i’m sooo thankful for Mike Brewer n Ed China…otherwise we wouldn’t have a clue what this bloke was saying about his motor!! lol…take more pics for us yanks !! Cheers

Thanks for all the replys fellas. Glad u like the car, just ordered my stainless tube for my exhaust, im goin to replicate the hks one that goes straight under rear chassis and up towards the corect side at an angle, it may be the invidia one… I need good advice on a rear silencer(muffler). I was in engineering for many years and i now fit large heating pipework into churches and factories so this will be quite easy, i have all the equipment to bend tubing and my dad is good with the tig welder. looking forward to it.
