Hello everyone, my name is Carlos. i live in florida so am new to this forums.! i just recently got a 1990 ls integra! i got the car with a bad headgasket. and im pretty exited to start a project with it…! this is going to be my first Honda build… i currently own a 00 celica gts and a 96 civic ek. the ek is just a daily…with a stock single cam! perfect for work. ok gettting back to the DA. the car is really clean!! ill post new pictures tom! right now i just got one!
Welcome. But you need to add as much info on the car. What year is it? Whats done to it? What are your plans? How much did you get it for? How many miles? And lets see some more pics of the inside and outside as well.
ok… sorry…well like i said is a 1990 LS. 2 door! the car its like a wine red! has a bad head gasket so i paid $550 plus 2 sparco seats(bucket seats non reclinable). the car came as a full car, nothing missing! it even came with 1 peice jdm headlights… has moonroof! and the interior is clean! is black and like a grey!!
the one piece were really dirty and yellow!! so i had them wet sanded and clear coated!!
and yesterday! i drove down to miami and picked out a whole almost new front end from a 92 DA.! clean!! i also picked up the 92 tailights from the same guy! i paid $150 for everything! great deal! and the conditions are geat! as you will c in the pictures! the interior of the car! is the one in the picture that has the 1 piece is just a small shot. but i will post more pics of the interior… here are the pics of the front end!!
the front included! HOOD, 2 Fenders, 92 Front bumper, bumper support, and the 2 little brackets to attach the 92 bumper support to the 90. basically the whole front end conversion! and as well as the tailights all for $150.00 lol sick deal cant get over it!!! yet!!!
Welcome to G2IC! As soon as I saw the first pic, I knew it looked really familiar. You’re friends with the other guy who recently bought a DA and has a J32 swapped Civic right?
I forgot to mention before the car also came with tokico blues and coil overs…but all types of diff wheels! but thats ok i guess lol…
So Far thats all i have got for the car! since i got it a week ago!!! i still got to clean the bottom of the one piece a lil more… they still yellow but its on the plastic not the lense so it should come off easily!!.
ok so my plans are to just buy and store all the parts! im going to use!!! and transform the car in one day!! instead of putting in the car little by little…!!
before anything the car its going to get painted white!!(unless my taste changes later lol) hopefully soon! as far for the interior! im going to stick with the stock! i love it!! the only thing i might change are the front seats!! i might go with the type r recaro! Probabily RED, Or S200 seats not sure yet still deciding!!
as far as wheels??? dont know yet?? but i know for a fact they need to be low offset i love the deep dish look…
also have plans for a Carbon lip and Hood if i find one for a good price… would like a trunk also… will c?
and the money question??? the engine? i really would like to drop a k20 swap!! if i find one in good conditions cheap i might go for it… but the engine is going to be my last step …
Im going to focus on the look first! once its all done to my expectations ill start working on the engine BAY!.. so thats it for now i guess!!
ill keep posting new parts i get for it here… with picstures and how much i paid for them! i guess you guys can leave me a feedback if i got a good deal or not…
hahaha yes!!! you prob would not believe it! but we live next door to eachother!!! and his civic is a beast!! bro… i dont know y lot of people are complaining about it in his post!! its a beauty! they only seen it in pics! lol i seen it in person! and trust me when i tell you its a beast!! LOL…
and i also have a J motor 3.2 vtec (cl type s 2003) sitting around!! i was going to drop it in the DA!!! LOL… but hasport dont got mounts yet! maybe by the time im done with the looks of the car they might and i might just do it…!! otherwise ill stick with the k20!
Sounds good, just don’t hold your breath on those mounts coming out. The DA chassis has always seemed to be the red headed stepchild when it comes to getting aftermarket support. All of the Civic/DC chassis seem to get stuff way before the DA. I just recently got back into DA’s, picked one up a month ago. I had my FA5 to play with for about 2 years. Hopefully, things have changed since I last owned a 90-93 Integra.
oh noooo !!! dont tell me your gonna strip the paint off those HORIZON GRAY fenders … please, lets trade and you can do that to my fenders and you can gimme yours …
lol…i think i will strip it man sorry…lol.those fenders dont have one dent…at all they would look perfect white with my car…sorry…even if we would trade u live too far.

could use a 92 hood & fenders myself, got 1 bad fender, broken under the DOHC molding. and one fender on the right that’s from a 90 or something… doesn’t quite fit right.
hood is dented too.
I was going to just get CF hood/fenders so i didn’t have to paint, but I’m broke anyway and now i kind of want to paint the whole thing horizon gray (its original color) myself anyway after i fix some dents.
good find, and the car doesn’t look too bad either. 
oh hey, at least you will have some spare tires!

yeah,bro thanks i know it was a good find thats why i jumped on it… now i got 2 hoods spare lol. am prob going to sell one when i get the cf hood… and keep just to have one in case anything happen!!..
am prob going to sell my 90-91 front end!!! when i put the 92-93… my 90-91 front is clean!!!. the bumpers is like new also… i just like the 92 look better!!! so will c…!

Me too bro. i think would def be a nice swap! but my main concern now is just gettin the car to look how i want. the engine swap! would be the last step!:tapfing:
