right now my car is tuned on a stock map sensor. and im thinking about getting a 2.5 motorola map sensor. would i need a new tune if i switched the sensors and kept it at the same psi?
plug your voltometer in and if it reads the same voltage at idle, in theory it would work.
but id wait till someone whos done it chimes in

I’m pretty sure it won’t scale the same way your stock map sensor does. Xenocron has this install instructions for it on his site, http://www.xenocron.com/install/25map.htm, and at the bottom says " Refer to the PGMFI thread for further developments for OBD0/OBD1 and additional MAP sensor BIN files that will work with this sensor." That tells me that you would need to change the bin file (the tune file) to accept it.
