Hi everyone,
Just introducing myself. This site is AWESOME!! I’ve already put in about 1200 bucks just to return my car to stock (plus a goodie or two). The previous owner didn’t take very good care of it.
I’m having trouble with my AC (haven’t decided if I’m leaving it in or not, I need it in VA) It only works for about two minutes on and off and today it started blowing a fine grey mist out the center vents…Help me!!
try getting it recharged… it solved my problem. but then, a month later i was getting the pulleys replaced and they noticed the condensor unit was leaking so i had it replaced for no extra charge in labor. it was great at the time, being in houston. but now that i’m in utah, i haven’t used the a/c at all this summer.
hey texnteg, how’d you like Park City? from what I remember(i lived in SLC for 4y) I used AC every day.
I did r134 coversion, since r12 was somewhat weak in cooling. And you need one in Utah, I am puzzled how’d you survived without AC up in the mountains.
becuase when you’ve got the windows down and cruising, you get that nice cool breeze off the mountains. now i drive in the morning and late afternoon, so its not in the hottest part of the day. plus, after living in the southern US all your life, heat is something that doesn’t bother you, humidity does and there is none out here. park city is pretty sweet, but its not home!!!
If youre gonna recharge here is some good advise : DO NOT USE HAND GRENADES ! LOL
