I just got some 16x7 RS LIMITED rims and was wondering what tire size would be best for it. I would either get 205/45/16’s or 225/45/16’s. What do you guys think would work out the best?
225 might be a little wide of a tire for a 7" wheel. Aside from that, it depends on how low you are and how sharp you want to turn without rubbing.
omg :werd: you don’t own a starion.
Im not going to drop it on the ground, just lower it about 2". I want it to look good and still be able to go over speed bumps. So what do you guys think I should get?
205 mang… they’re still wide.
you might be able to drop to 40 instead of 45 though…that’s what counts w/ speed bumps.
Does anyone have a picture of a 40 series tire on a rim. I just wanted to see what the 40’s look like (the profile). And how is the ride quality? I would think that the 45’s are better because there is a less of a chance to bend my aluminum wheels from pot-holes. Im looking into Yokohama Parada Spec-2 tires, good quality and good price :).

clicky, my photobucket’s over b/w.
it’s on a 17 tho…
Those rims almost look like mine, except mine are silver. From your pic the 40’s look a little small. I can either get the 40’s or the 45’s which are $11 more for each tire.
45’s are a little more likely to rub, but go to team-integra’s tire size calculator and find out which one would work best for speedo/performance
where may that be on that site?
First of all, don’t get parada’s they are garbage, I worked at America’s Tire Co. for 2 years and sold a ton of parada’s, no one was happy with them, including me, i have a set in my garage almost new, waiting to tade them in cause they suck! I reccomend the ES100’s you’ll be much happier with them.
Second, My 91 is lowered 2.25 front and 2 rear and I have 205/45/16 Yokohama ES100’s and they don’t rub. I have an old picture of my car with 205/40’s on it, it looked stupid cause my car was lowered and still had almost as much gap as stock. :giggle:
With a car lowered 2-2.5 inches, 205/45’s will not rub as long as you roll the inside of the rear wheel wells(no visual difference) (*Note–If you don’t recamber the rear of your car after lowering it, you won’t have to roll the fenders.)
1st pic is the 40 siries
2nd pic is current 45 series
well this is true, but I meant w/o rolling…
the TI article is at www.team-integra.net
go to Articles>information>tire size calculator (I think under wheels)

IntegraVSR: My sister had the paradas but they were the orignal ones 4-5 years ago. The ones Im looking at are spec-2 so Im thinking there better. And thanks for the pictures.
ElBorintegra: Thanks alot for letting me log-on with your info… The calculator (sp?) shows that my speedometer would be the same speed that I would be going. My conclusion is to get the 45 series because the speed will be the same and I will have a better ride.
Thanks again.
 45’s will also get you less gap (as you can see w/ his pix).
Pics when you get em on
will do…
Thanks.
Here is a pic. I figured I would take it like that because theres a pillow under the rim to hold it up, the rims are in front of the stock ones because I dont have tires yet.
looks familiar
ElBorintegra: As you requested. The tires are 205/45/16 BF Goordrich G-force Sports. What do you guys think of my wheels?
