Very clean DA and welcome to the site ! Perfect place and almost the best place to start with your DA
That thing looks good, how long have you had it for? The 18s look good imo but definitely needs a drop to enhance the look and the oem rear mud flaps should do just that. So if you find some at a yard then be sure to pull them ! And by the looks of it, the motor is swapped for a b18b1 (94+ integras) which may be obd2 if its from a 96 or later. Any big plans?
It’s a b20b. has a little over 60,000 miles
b20b motor . little over 60,000 miles
had it for a month, yeah checking out some lowering springs, its a b20b motor. I’m not sure, my list is to drop it first, then idk what to do. Im not sure what to do mechanically, dont know much, just reading up basics online
what do you mean by the a the blue?
Nice start, wecome! This is the best site in the world!!!
Thanks, happy to be here. any advice on where to get started?
For some reason i was thinking you ment the air intake not the intake manifold…An you know you can not bar a b20 right?
Welcome to the site! ofcourse a few great things to always start with, if you want to feel and hear a little difference, is intake, header, exhaust as usual and lowering a little never hurts either

Been looking for a post about how to replace intake on here, cant find any
could you take a pic of the BAR sticker? I have never seen a bar’d B20 before…interested to know if it could be true
Replace the intake or intake manifold?
Why would you need to replace the intake when it is stock.
You don’t need a guide on removing the intake. It’s a clamp, a couple of hoses and a couple of screws. Not that difficult.

The intake manifold is an obd2, they want an obd0. Ahh ok, thought it would be more difficult to remove the manifold.
It is more difficult to remove the manifold.
What I posted refers to the air intake since you mentioned the word intake alone. Not the intake manifold.
You will need to be more clear if you are referring to the manifold or the air intake.

yeah sorry bout that, just realized there was difference. So how difficult is it to remove a stock intake manifold?
New to auto mechanics. First Car.
Hey everyone. I thought I would introduce myself to the g2ic community. I actually joined a while back but haven’t really put any time into my teg and haven’t made a formal introduction. By no means am I a professional mechanic, I find working on my car merely a hobby that I very much enjoy. I don’t plan on making this my career as my focus is on audio engineering/music production. But off to the point below…
I picked up my first car (1991 Integra GS, Hatchback) about a year ago when I was 16. I bought it because I was naive and was just super excited to pick up a car and show it off. I had it before I even was legally allowed to drive. It has roughly 395,000 miles…lol… Luckily the previous owner was a d.i.y. mechanic himself. It came already swapped with a baby b20b. 60k miles on it.
So for the past year since I’ve had it, it’s been my daily driver. There’s been quite a few of minor problems that have occurred. I’ve been through blown radiators, no-starts, leaks, idle problems, and smog problems. Thanks to forums, such as g2ic, I was able to fix these problems myself. Needless to say, i’ve been hooked on d.i.y. projects ever since. Still haven’t fixed all my problems yet such as a small tranny leak, some weird ass noises, exhaust rattle. I’m slowly getting there and I look forward to doing actual upgrades rather than just fixing problems.
Sorry for the long read but I guess this is sort of my commitment to work on my teggy. It’s funny though, about a year ago I didn’t know shit about auto mechanics. Didn’t even know cars needed an oil change. But here I am now, using the same vocabulary as these honda veterans on the forums.
Shout-out to everyone who’s helped out on the forums.
Sorry bout the re-post. This thread was combined with my old thread from a while back. Felt I needed to re introduce my self.
Good first car to start working on.
Also, are those Kosei rims? 17s? Maybe look-a-likes…
