This is off of a B18C GSR, but the routing of the FITV should be the same… One hose goes from the intake-manifold flange to the FIT… Then from the FIT to the IACV on the back of the manifold. The picture is upside down, for ease of viewing.
Damn son! Appendix? Bummer. Heal up nice and good.
I figured you could probably sell the MSD stuff for enough to get an OEM coil and igniter and I understand the desire to not fix something that ain’t broke, but it also looks like shit and you were bitching about what a mess the engine bay way…
There are some articles around here on ways to “properly” remove the power steering and then there are other discussions on doing it better/making it easier to move the steering wheel.
So why are you replacing the head gasket?
And you are making perfect sense so you are probably not medicated enough!
Unified, that chart is just saying that the S1 and YS1 have the same gear ratios; but it doesn’t really matter because it is wrong. In fact, it has been wrong for almost 10 years now. We should have a little party!
The A1 transmission also came out of 90-91 LS Integras and I can tell you for a fact that they have a 4.4 FD. I know because I counted them once and it correlated with the count here and here (page 2) and it is reported that the USDM S1 for the LS is the same.
Interesting… I’ve used that chart to count only two transmissions… My brothers '99 Si trans, and my JDM J1 trans, and it was correct on both accounts.
Either way though, being that the USDM YS1/S1 both have a JDM counterpart, the only way to know for sure which one someone has is to count the teeth. Or do the transmission calculator and try to extrapolate it that way. Though more often than not people have the USDM trans, with only hopes that they have t3h JDM hawtneSS, if you know what I mean.
I dislike being wrong… I DON’T WANNA PLAY ANYMORE!!!
your better off saving that money that you would pay someone else put in and buy more parts with it. That way you have more motivation to get your ass out of bed and put them on
my one tip is dont wait for the MSD to crap out. get it out of there asap. returning it to stock will yield you with a lot less headaches in the future.
