Beautiful, congrats on the new addition to the family!
(I’m super jealous, I’ve been getting an increasing desire for a street trim AGP DB2 to compliment my white track DB2)
Nice purchase. Wish I can get a hold of a DB2. Are you restoring, light mods or full on customization? Very rare find, just please keep it clean whatever you decide.
p.s nevermind, just read your blog. Looks as though you will keep it stock. It’s all good!
Thanks, Colin! Yeah I’d been on the lookout for one of these for awhile so I was glad to find one that’s nicely kept. Unfortunately the car failed Arizona emissions testing on Wednesday so I have some troubleshooting to do. The good news is that as of January it’s 25 years old, so I can get Historic tags / collector insurance, and be exempt from smog testing going forward.
Yeah definitely - gonna stay stock. I do need to have the windows re-tinted sometime soon. The back 3 windows have purple/bubbly tint.
Haha, will do Brian. Yeah you actually just barely missed out on a real beauty - it was on Ebay in Seattle actually. 94 LS “Sirius White Pearl” with only something like 85,000 miles. My friend Ryan ended up grabbing it and shipping it to the east coast. It’ll be garage kept and rarely driven.
I need to get the Teg out for some “family photos.” This last set was missing my 94 Legend sedan.
Haha, story of my life! Right now I have that 2-car garage at home, plus I’m renting two 10x20 storage units which each have a car in them, plus the NSX is at my brother’s in southern Utah because he’s installing new leather in it for me. I’m in the process of looking at a home with 5-car garage so crossing fingers that will work out. I want to see your cars the next time I’m in Seattle area. I have friends all over up there. I picked up the Integra in Woodinville and stayed that night with a buddy in Renton. Which part of town are you in?
I just time warped into 1995 with that picture!!! Very impressive collection of pure '90’s Acura luxury…at it’s finest. That pic (I’m sure)needs a reshoot with the GS-R, now in your possession. Please when you do, post it up so I can screen save and use it as a background drop on my laptop! Just awesome, every car looks flawless like it just came off the showroom floor from an Acura dealership.
Yes, that would be awesome. I will keep you posted on my next travels to the PNW! I think it’s so awesome you’ve kept your Integra since new and it’s in as nice of shape now as it was back then.
Haha, thank you very much! I truly feel that the early-mid 90’s was a high point in Honda / Acura engineering. The NSX rocked the supercar world, the Legend was out-selling other luxury import flagships, and the GS-R was putting out more horsepower per liter than any other naturally aspirated engine in the world. This is my way of trying to find and preserve those special cars that so many of us remember from back then.
All of them need a little work - they have some wear and tear consistent with 20-25 years of driving.
1992 NSX - 104,000 miles
1992 GS-R - 236,000 miles
1994 Vigor - 105,000 miles
1994 Legend coupe - 543,000 miles
1994 Legend sedan - 150,000 miles
I decided to get pics with the Vigor + Integra yesterday since both were at the house. Arcadia Green & Aztec Green aren’t too far off!
Wow. Amazing dedication to the collection…I read your blog as well and can truly appreciate the attention to detail. The variations on the Green paint codes cracked me up! Not easy to keep these cars in such tip-top shape after so many years.
Now it’s time to search for a daily… may i recommend the quasi-rare DB1 4-door? :ohyeah:
I know, it’s tough keeping a 20+ year old Acura on the road. OEM parts are being discontinued left and right. If (when) it’s time for a clutch on the Legends, I have to go aftermarket. Sucks but it’s a labor of love keeping the cars alive. I’d love a DB1 4-door - that was the first car that kick started my love for Acura back in 1996. It was my mom’s red one at the time.
As for a daily though, I already have that covered. I drive a 2013 ILX 6-speed. Got it in 2012 with 16 miles on it. Today it has over 174,000. Pretty nuts for a 3-model-year-old car. In May I drove it to northern Alaska and back, from Arizona. Hell of a trip!

This is awesome, major props! I want to see an updated family photo:up:
Yes, definitely going to get that! Just a matter of time. Have to figure out where and how to assemble all the cars. Planning on re-creating some dealer photos like this one.
Thanks! Yes thankfully this one is going to stay as close to stock as can be. Granted, some OEM parts are no longer available. For example, I just had the front right upper control arm replaced and OEM was no longer available, so we had to go aftermarket.
I just got the car back a few days ago from some heavy maintenance.
It’s back and running better than ever. Also finally got my AZ tags so it’s officially a resident now.
