New valve cover

ok so who knows of a new cover that we can get besides polishing or painting the one we have. I just see a ?Morrso? cover for the B18A NON-Vtec…

:stuck_out_tongue: the cover comes in RED , BLUE , orCLEAR .(darn colors)

Spoon, JUN, Mugen, and JDM ITR/CTR valve covers are readily available on the internet. for starters check these sites:

www.jdmhondaparts.com
www.thepartstrader.com
www.inlinefour.com

Have fun.

I had the same question a few weeks ago and Moroso seems to be the only one for non vtec. I checked Zoomintegra’s links and I only saw ones for vtec engines.

hehe okay, sorry. thought you meant a vtec head.

cover for the B18A NON-Vtec…

its all good

How much do those moroso ones cost, anyway? And who sells them? I like how they look, which means they probably cost a fortune.

i dont know but i will be calling in a few hours. ( have to wait because of time zones) and i will post it here. i will put all the prices that i can get. k. im still looking to see what the clear one looks like.

i think by “clear” they mean silver. lots of places that have AEM stuff, some of 'em call the polished fuel rails and brake kits, etc. all “clear” instead of saying silver…prolly cause it’s a clearcoat on anodized aluminum. that would be my guess.

Close. “Clear” means the anodizing solution they use doesn’t have any dye in it, so it is anodized, but it looks like bare aluminum.

The cam covers cost around $359-$389. HTH

Ouch! Maybe I’ll just stick with a powdercoated B20 cover…

I have a B20 valve cover for sale. $80 plus shipping

ramacat@earthlink.net

I can get a complete head for not much more then that:)

Yes, but thats not just a valve cover. As most of you already know the cam cover is EASILY removable (I.E.: no cutting), and it “helps the flow of oil in the drivetrain”. This is just what my friend told me because he did some research on it and is getting one for his B16a. If I’m wrong do correct me.
