i have a 91 teg and i was wondering if i can put a 93 engine in withouot having to get a new ecu or anything. any help would be greatly appreciated.
the answer…yes. you really should do some of your own research. do a search (see the big red flashing button up in the top right hand corner of the screen? its big and flashing for a reason…use it!). also, read through past threads. as well as download the engine swap guide in the teg tips. yes yes, i know its directed at vtec swaps. but you can use a lot of the info in there anyway…such as the info about obd issues, wiring… basically just ignore the parts that retain specifically to vtec (i.e. adding wires). overall, basically just do your homework. then when you’ve basically got an idea of what you’ll be needing to d come back with any more secific questions or clarifications you’re still unsure of.
