nitto 450 extremes

does anyone here have any experience with these tires?

do they have good grip, do they last long, how do they fair up to other comparable tires?

thanks.

the last time i ran nittos, it seemed as if they had to be replaced more often than other brands i’ve ran…ive been running kumho 711s and have been happy for 2 years

Nitto is a good tire in my eyes they do however wear fast.I think theyre to exspensive there is alot better tires out there cheaper. As mentioned above kuhmo is a decent tire for tread life, but i think they suck for traction especially on wet roads. My father riced out a prelude to sell and he happen to get some 18inch rims with brand new 215/35 450’s on em,he said they stick to the road well.

If you want a tire to do ANY amount of solocross, then I’d have to rate the NT450 about a HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I just destroyed my last set of 450’s about a week ago in Waterloo, IA at the last Iowa Region SCCA event. They handle about as good as your standard high performance tire, but don’t expect miracles. If you want a tire that will perform, get the KDWS’s, the Ecsta MX’s, the Hankook HR-2’s, or the Azenis 615’s.

i had the 450’s on my first teg and they did o.k. until i got some toyo proxes t1-s then i could tell the difference. years later i have had toyo, nitto, yokahama, falken, and bf goodrich low pro tires. the nitto looked good but in terms of ware and handling the yokahama and the falkens were the best in my opinion. i had the falken 502’s on my other teg.

I’ve tried Pirelli, Nitto and just recently got some Yokohamas. Out of the 3, I liked Nitto 450s the least. They also didn’t last very long.

well i just order mines let see how they work on my webbs on the city of ny

they are alright. kind of on the soft side though they have lasted quite a long while with my crazy driving and negative camber. they have tons of tread left and i have put about 6k on them.

I just bought a set of no name rims of some guy for 80 bucks and they came with KUHMO ECSTA supras 205/50/15 and I always burn out everychance I get, every turn I make from a stop I punch it around and spin the tires and when I got the tires they had about 75% left on them and Ive been abusing them for 3 months now and they have about 60% left still. As stated above they do suk in the rain well mine do at least probably due to low tread, but i rate them a 8/10 really good tires.

just get some advans and be happy
