has any tried out the nitto neo gen tires cause i was thinkin about buying a set but i havent herd of anyone whos bought them??? or the bfgoodrich kdw2 the flame tread
They’re some pretty nice tires.
The only downside that I didn’t like was that the tread pattern was opposite for both sides. The tires aren’t directional.
They’ll look like this.

That ususaly means they put the tire on wrong.
i havent actualy had them but i have heard good things about them.
That usually means you dont know what you’re talking about.
Please dont post if you dont know.
whatever you say.
why whould they make tires that go in two different directions.
does one wheel drive backwards, while the other goes forwards.:dunno:
when you had the tires put on, did the shop say thats how they go on. or did you just get home and think everything was good to go.
anybody else have an opinion on this.
That’s how Nitto Neo Gen’s were made.
Dont you read. I said that they’re non directional, so that’s how they’ll look like.
Either way you put them on, you’re gonna get the same thing.
Example: GS-R Moving Star Rims. 2 facing one way, opposite way for the other side.
the nitto are nice ass tires. i have bad neg camber and the tires wore very slow
Here ya’ll go. More info for whoever. Nitto website
Play with the 3D if ya like. There’s only one tire made, not 1 for each side.
I just looked a set and i see what your saying.
i guess common sense would just tell me otherwise.
this is the tire in question right.
if you ask me, i would say thats a bad design on nittos part. but i dont design tires so i couldnt realy say as to why they where made that way, R & D most likely has some sort of reasoning behind it,
But like i said earlier i have heard good things about them.
Those tires look like they are more for looks than performance.
They don’t compare to the Falken Azenis or the Yokohama Parada.
parada’s aren’t very good in the rain though. I’ve had them on my car and the rear end slips really easily when i’m turning at mid-high speeds in the rain and the front spins like crazy.
the nito’s are an all season tire so they’d be better in the rain
these tires are great in my opinion. i had these on for nearly 3000 miles and there’s nearly no signs of wear. my falkens had signs of wear after less than 1000 miles even with the camber kits. best tires for the buck!
