its makng to much noise n a new one cost much…what happen if i removie it???lmk
you will have to one of two things.
- get RS brake lines and master and proportion valve
- get a new abs pump from a junk yard
but if you do take it out there is going to be A LOT of pressure in there so be careful. i might have one of you need one
you close you eyes before fluid sprays at your face, it’s under constant pressure even when it’s off.
you dont necessarily have to remove it. if you pull the fuse for it. that will disable it and should get rid of the chirping noise it makes.
iight good looking out… cuz my abs doesnt work at all…if i dont need it why have it you know…
Yeah, I just removed my fuse under the hood to stop the squealing.
Remove it and it frees all that space…it weighs like 30-40lbs all together…if you plan to just remove whatever you can without removing pump and reservoir…you can start with the abs sensors that is on all 4 wheels…It wouldn’t have any effect on the vehicle.
i took off one of the relay to abs n it stop chirping ,i took the second relay off can i take of the rest other two right??
The relay in the bay or the computer box on the passenger side you removed. You see the line that is next to each brake line area. You can remove those. It’s the Abs sensors. just unplug em. They should end with pink plugs. Just unplug them and do not cut em.
But do not remove anything that has to do with fluids if you are not removing the abs reservoir yet…
iigght thankscuz i was jus bout to cut to n suttin told me not to so i taped up all three plugs together n removed the bracket…n for the a/c i jus took the relays off n taped them off to i was gona cut it too but its a sub- harness so i didnt i jus pushed it behind the radiator
