Unfortunately, I don’t know very much about it. I mentioned it here:
@b16da9 Can you chime in? I don’t know whether they handle automatics though.
So I am still completely sure you have a TCM in your car.
When you get your ECU back, plug it back in, locate your TCM and check the troubleshooting LED and cluster lights.
Great info. Thank you! I have already pretty much run down the testing on pages 11-72 and 11-73 which leads to ECM issue. (I also have a simultaneous issue with the MAP sensor.) What year/model Integra is this info for? I notice there are side-by-side S3 and S4 dash indicators shown whereas my car has a single S3 light. Would this make any difference?
What? You don’t have S3/S4 ? Please post a pic of your instrument cluster and your gear shifter side that shows the thumb button for S3/S4.
This manual is for a '93 but applies to '90-'93 integras. I don’t know of an auto 2nd gen without the S3/S4 side by side lights in the cluster.
I feel really dumb. Of course it has both S3 and S4 indicators. I’ve had this car for 17 years.
Sounds like you need to use those S3/S4 gears more often!
