I reciently got a new bike and I let my car sit for about a month without really driving it. It ran fine when I parked it but now I am not gettingany fuel. I am not even getting any to the fuel filter. I disconnected the supply line from the pump at the filter and nothing. My only guess left is that the fuel pump is bad. I was wondering if he there was anythign else I need to look at before I replace the fuel pump. I have searched but couldn’t come up with anything. Thanks.
could be the Main Fuel Relay, it seems to be a common issue here in the recent months.
if that turns out to be the problem i have a couple extras that are in working order.
Where is the main fuel relay located?
Next to your blinker relay. :read:
Underneath the driver’s side dash. It is a black box. If you search ‘main fuel relay’ or MFR, you probably can pull up some pics and see how common this problem is. You should go back out and try to start your car again. Usually it will fail intermittenly before total failure.
