Well the horn comes and goes i really smacked it today and sure enough beep beep but then it hasn’t worked since. My cruise is also out and it kinda sucks since i’m lazy and i drive to fast so i can govern myself if i had the cruise on ya know.
hopefully this is the problem, really easy to fix; check your fuses.
most commonly when a bunch of things all go wrong or start acting weird is because you blew a fuse, so check the fuses. i know the fuse for the horn is wired to the brake lights, i’m not sure of the cruise control, but just check everything under the hood, then check the under-dash fuse box.

try some dielectric (sp?) grease
Horn and Cruise and Brake Lights are all on the same fuse, under the HOOD (not in the kickpanel). I think it is a 20A fuse, can’[t remember correctly though. Look at the “map”, and it’s easy. Most likely this fuse is blown, but unsure why. Try replacing with SAME SIZE FUSE. If it blows right away, you have a short, mos tlikely in the horn itself, in the bumper.
I had to replace my horns because they were permanently stuck ON. Replaced it, and they’re fine. I guess they seized with age/rust/moisture.
to me, the fuses wouldn’t be the problem if the horns still work sometimes… if the fuse is blown, they should never have power.
i would say the ring in the steering wheel or the connectors on the horns.
My horn and cruise dont work either but i realized that one of my horns is missing, how can i make em work again wit out replacing that horn, cna i just loop the wires?
