Hi guys,
I put my teg in the shop on Monday and its still there. I ran it out of gas ( dont tell anyone ) and the next time i tried to start it, it wouldnt catch. Even after I put in 2 gallons, nothing.
I tried turning it over so much, just waiting for the fuel to come through, that I was even killing the battery. I had it towed.
The shop has it for a few days, says Im not getting any spark, and it was my distributor. That didnt work either and now he tells me that he mapped out my whole car, top to bottom and cant find out why. He thinks it may be the computer.
Does this make sense? Is he missing anything, off the top of your head? I just called to ask if he re-did the timing ( after my search) but he’s gone for the day. I just hope that someone on here can help, or has any ideas. The fuel pump is working he says, so spark is the prob.

Although a bad distributor could have been the problem, it is unlikely, and unless he also tested and/or replaced the coil and the ICU, [ignition control unit] then that would be the things I would check, right after checking to make sure there is 12V+ at the distributor assembly, black/yellow, [hot in run and start].:hmm: 94
