No Start After Xenocron Fuel Pump

Me and my friend installed a new xenocron 255lph fuel pump today on my 91 LS, but my car won’t start now…I have enough fuel in my tank, and I know the pump is quality…my car just won’t start…the pump is priming though…has a nice loud buzz, so I know it’s working…anyone have any ideas…?

Did u hook it up backwards?

Sometimes when you open up the fuel lines air can get trapped in the lines and not allow the fuel to prime all the way up to the injectors. I believe it’s called “air locked” I’d take off the fuel line @ the rail and then turn on the ignition and while holding a bottle or something over the fuel line, see if is squirts. Just an idea.

P.s. this is my first G2IC post. YA!

what did you do to replace the whole fuel pump and how long. i bought myself a fuel pump but i worry how long it will take since school is starting

the 255 xenocron pump i had, was not loud at all. did you assemble the assembly correctly? possible the “sock” slipped off and there is not enough fuel to reach the bottom of the pump for it to pick up. this happened to mee the first time i installed it. its also possible that the feed line coming from the top of the pump was ruptured or torn during removal/install.
