No warning sound for leaving head lights on

Its the 2nd time in two weeks that i have left my headlights on and ran the battery dead.
When i shut the car off, there is no warning sound to remind me that i left the lights on?
how do i fix this? what should i do?

Perhaps you should start with the module behind the fuse block. Heard tell that controls most all the alarms, chimes, horns, etc…If I were you, I’d also check out the chime itself located under the drivers seat, I think.

That happens to me occasionally. But I know the reason. My headlight switch is wearing out. I know this because if i have my headlights on, and i fiddle with the button, or turn my blinker on, my parking lights and interior lights shut off, but the headlights stay on. The bell wont ring if the switch that is th case.
Idk if you or anyone else has had this problem.

the chime that sounds for the headlights is somethere inside the dash near the center console. i always thought it came form the ICU (behind fusebox). i started listening for it and tracked it to the dash somewhere.

Your head light warning chime is “controlled” by the ECU and the drivers door pin.

Does the dome light work when you open the drivers door?

Does the key still in ign. warning chime work?

Does the seat belt warning chime work?:hmm: 94

Yeah the chime is controlled by the door pins, i’d suggest pulling them out and cleaning them with baking soda and water with a small wire brush to get any corrosion off, if that doesn’t work try for a fuse?

Actually the chimes are controlled by the drivers door pin switch only.:whisper: 94

I’ve owned my DA for over a year now and that damn seat belt light would always be on. Just a few days ago it dissapred and have no idea how it happend. I didnt mess around with any thing. I’m not complaining im just wondering how the hell that could of happend lol.

Bulb probably burnt out, was not meant to be on all the time.:sipread: 94
