Okay, I did some research on ecu’s I can’t find a place to get one. I’m leary about EBAY because the chips on there range from $1 to $20
Oh yeah, my setup… b18, skunk2 intake, cai, exhaust, aem fuel rail, b&m fpm. So, where can I find a chip, or ECU that will increase the rev limiter, modify the fuel curve, blah blah blah… I also read on here that skunk2 and mugen don’t make chips for non-vtec engines, Is there an ecu from another model I can use?
need some help.
First off, there are plenty of programs out there for the b18a/b ECU’s. You just have to find them.
Also, Skunk2 does make a program for the LS and it rocks. 8500 rev limit and optimized fuel/timing make that program a damn good thing.
On the other hand. Why are you interested in raising your rev limit when all your going to get out of it is a dead engine?? You dont have any mods that are going to make you power up higher in the powerband and you dont have anything built up to be able to handle a higher rev.
Now, I see that you are in Washington… I just happen to chip ECU’s on the side and I can help you out with a program if you really want one, but I do not recommend raising your rev limit!!!
hey BR can u make me a program that has the advanced fuel/timing curves but keep stock auto rev limit? can u take out any speed govenors? can u change auto shift points?
I dont have any programs for an auto at the moment and I am still learing a lot of the program editing tricks.
Honda programs are pretty maxed out from the factory so unless you have some mods done you are going to be better off keeping the stock program.
I actually have a good program for a 90-91 LS that has a setup of just bolt ons, but it is for a manual. I could help you out if you had a manual.
I believe that I have only seen one automatic performance program in the time that I have been modding ECU’s.

What do you want to know??
I have a good program for the 90-91 LS that optimizes fuel/timing and keeps the stock redline. It is a great program for an LS with I/H/E and any other basic bolt ons.
I was running it in my teg for a few days but it didnt go well with my setup considering I have cams and a crapload of other stuff. I am currently using a PYR program that is rockin’ for a built LS.
