Noob autocross questions

So lately I’ve been toying with the idea of autocrossing my daily driven DB2. And I have some questions for the people out there that autocross.

1.) I’m a 21 year old college student, so I don’t have a lot of extra money. Would autocrossing the car be too much for me financially do you think?

2.) Would a gsr even make a decent autox car? I could see it being a PITA trying to keep the rpms up so high all the time.

3.) I was thinking of just buying a set of 14" steelies and then getting some tires to throw on them. What kind of fairly inexpensive tire would be good to learn on?

I doubt it would cost you much. I’ve done a few research and most of the people would say you dont really have to spend much on your car to race in autox. They would prob say seat time seat time, but then again im a noob at this too.
