if theres nothing wrong with the head gasket i would’nt replace it. Buy all sensors from the dealer. i would honestly buy everything for the dealer. make sure you dont have a cowl leak. When those random rain storms come, they come in handy so your passenger floor does not get flooded.
I personally prefer DA’s with hids. because with stock bulbs its hard for me to see without driving with the foglights on. And sometimes i dont want them on.
I was told to replace head gasket seal, because the car currently has the cheap red one, is this true?
They said those are crappy seals and rather replace it with OEM.
While I am here, hope you dont mind me asking what sensors you think I should replace? thanks man
woo that thing looks minty original, great find… i would start with finding authentic 1-piece headlights (not the egay knockoffs), then susp + wheels… if you really want you can look into swapping the front & rear bumpers with 92-93 bumpers (92-93s had a face lift) and swapping the tail lights with 92-93 lights (amber signals vs pink) but i personally prefer the 90-91s, more of an oldschool look
yeah every DA i’ve owned had the cowl leak… little rubber seals under the cowl on the pasenger side always go out and water seeps in and drips through the blower…
as for the stock bulbs, on the JDM 1-pieces they are more than plenty but on the USDM 3 piece the light output is pretty shitty, but having yellow fogs looks so good anyway i don’t mind driving with them on at all times
Thanks, interior is the real surprise, very well kept. I got original radio lol
I am in the search for one piece headlights as we speak, any ideas where to look?
YES, finally!!! My car DOES have a leek when it rains… looks like it seeps in from where the seatbelt track is on both sides, so I see its called the “cowl leak”… any tips on how to take care of this problem?
sorry for the million questions guys but I really appreciate all the knowledge being provided!
