Hey guys, I’m tired of this car sitting in my driveway and I’m parting it out. Here’s the story behind it. I bought the car in June and drove it around for a few months. I crashed the car in October, and straightened the front end out enough to drive it to work and back. A couple weeks later I overheated it due to a knick in the radiator hose that I hadn’t replaced after the accident. The needle spiked to hot for labout 30 seconds but it was enough to blow the headgasket so I parked it. While parked a couple leaks (hatch/windshield cowl/window weatherstripping) turned a few parts of the car into mildew colonies so I scrapped certain areas of the interior already. All of these events progressively made me like the car less and less so I’m salvaging what I can and junking it. I will be keeping a few parts for my other DA and future projects. The interior items are in remarkably good condition however the body is fairly rough. Expect most body panels to have dings and dents.
If you are interested in any parts feel free to inquire on here about condition, price, or availability. I can also be contacted through email @ michaelessila@gmail.com or text @ 530-321-9334 . I will ship smaller items but prefer local pickup for anything larger.
How it sat after the accident to give you an indication of the damage and parts it has.

-MUCH MORE JUST ASK
Parts that are known bad/thrown away

Parts I’m definitely keeping

I actually have no idea how much to ask for these. I haven’t pulled the suspension off the car yet to inspect it but I can say these are an extremely rough ride in comparison to my eibach ground controls on my other DA. Since I haven’t inspected them yet I’m not sure if this is due to the fact that the spring rate is much higher or if the struts are possibly leaking/blown. I will be pulling them off this week so I could give a more accurate description of them then. Some people like a really tight suspension but I very much prefer my off the shelf GCs.
Bumper plugs aren’t for sale. I actually need another pair.
I pulled the rear panels today and although the panels are in good condition the fabric is starting to come off the cloth section.
I also pulled the suspension today. The coilovers are noname ebay coilovers so that explains the harsh ride. When compressed the rear struts return to the uncompressed state quickly. The froons take longer but they do raise back up
damn i just seen your in chico… thats a mission however i might be going up to sacramento soon hopefully we can work something out or you can see how much it is to ship i am very interested in those
I rarely go to sacramento but one of my friends lives down there so I go down there occasionally. I wouldn’t want to even try to ship those items because they’re so big so we would definitely have to meet up. When are you going to be in Sacramento?
The fronts are scraped pretty short from the car being so low. I borrowed the rears from my other car so they’re going to be going back on that car. Isn’t your xsi a 90-91 though or am I misremembering? I know I have a bunch of mudflaps in a box somewhere, I can look through those and see if any are in good shape if you’d like.
Update on the car…
The dash is out along with the rest of the interior. The only exception being the A/B/C pillar covers and the headliner. I worked on pulling harnesses today and most are almost out. The ecu, engine harness, and subharness are pending sale. I just need to get them out.
Everything on this car worked (except cruise control) so if you can think of anything you can use let me know. I will give deals on bundles of multiple items. I would just like to see this car help revive other DAs before getting scrapped.
yea, the car is a 91 but it has a 93 front bumper and im not sure about the rear but it has the outline still of where the mudflaps USED to be. what does the year of the car have to do with it? the 92-93 didnt have mud flaps?
if you can find a nice set then that would be great. they just gotta be as close to perfect as possible. at minimum an 7.9/10
DA-all-day- the front mudflaps are the same from 90-93, the rear bumpers are slightly different shapes so 90-91 and 92-93 rear mudflaps are different. I will check, I wouldn’t be interested in selling them if they’re not in really good condition.
DA9-USMC- Yes manual transmission. It is a LS ys1. I don’t know how much shipping would cost but more than likely it would make the overall cost too much to be worth it. If you’re serious though I can check for you after its pulled out.
